Independence Day Celebrations – Independence Day was
celebrated at school on 15th August 2008. There was a small programme
organized with the help of the school staff and students. It began with
the Welcome Address, followed by flag hoisting and speech by principal,
Sh. R.K. Das. Students gave presentations on a few topics like
India-Unity in Diversity and Pollution- threat to humanity. A G.K. quiz
was organized for all the students, which consisted of questions related
to India’s Independence. This helped in increasing the knowledge of the
students as well as those present in the function.
The programme ended with a speech given by the Principal. Sweets were
distributed to all the students and staff members personally by the
Principal.
